Dear Future Girl,I’m just going to tell you now that I hate Valentines Day so much. When it rolls around you better expect something creative and hand made. A date that’s planned by me that’s probably will be like no normal Valentine’s date. I truly despise Valentines Day because it’s such a capitalist holiday. It’s just an excuse to raise prices on flowers and make money on “Valentine’s gifts”. It’s the one day that we all are suppose to treat our girl with love and show them how much we care. Reality is though you should treat your girl like that  365 days a year. We shouldn’t need an excuse to make our girl feel special. It’s not hard to make your girlfriend a romantic dinner or write a little love letter and slip it in her purse telling how much you care about her. A girl should feel loved and adored by her man each and every day they are together. It’s really not that hard to notice the little things she changes and remember the important dates or her favorite things. All it takes is a little effort and maybe going out of your way once in a while to show how much you care about her. If she has had a bad day at work and you know it, make sure when she gets home you draw her a bath and let her soak in it while you cook dinner. Then at dinner just let her vent to you about her day and get it all out. Just listen to her and pay attention. Afterwards maybe give her a massage and let her pick out a movie. It doesn’t always have to be about you. There will be times where you might have a bad day and she be there to take care of you. A relationship is give and take. Sometimes just a little effort and time will go a long way when you are trying to show her how much you care. It doesn’t always have to be something big and extravagant either. A simple meaningful text saying how much she means to you or buying her a small bouquet of flowers to surprise her when you see her often gets the best smiles. Through the happiness and the anger, laughter and tears, and everything in between that person is there to support you no matter what. Love is a 24/7, 365 days a year thing so why celebrate it on one specific day. I’m going to show you each and everyday how much you mean to me. I promise to try my hardest to make you smile and laugh each and every day. On the days you are sad I’ll hold you and comfort you till I can bring that smile back to your face. I’ll be there to listen when you need it and to support you through all your decisions. I want you to be part of every part of my life because things with you will be amazing. Home will be wherever we make it because really as long as I’m with you I can make any place my home. It doesn’t matter what I do or where I’m going as long as I have you by my side to experience it with me.
